Thats what I just keep telling myself. On Monday afternoon, I dropped G's car off to him in Dartmouth. As I was driving across the bridge the check engine light started blinking at me and then the car started having trouble accelerating, and was doing a lot of jolting when I stopped and was idelling at the lights. GREAT! So we called our mechanic and planned to drop the car off this evening to him to look at tomorrow. Meanwhile - G has been driving my car to Dartmouth everyday, and I've been carpooling out to the airport.
I get a phone call from G tonight asking me to get our neighbors to drive me down to meet him...at the corner of Bayside and Lacewood. Apparently while crusin down Bayside my car just stopped working....Double Great! So CAA towed us back to the apartment and we put some gas in it (it was empty almost) however it still won't start. So to the dealer it goes tomorrow. Sucks more that it has to go to the dealer, unfortunately the mechanic is in Lake Fletcher, and I can't really get a tow there....sooo... This also means that G has to now find a way to work tomorrow, or take the bus. Which is doable, just a pain in the ass because we live in Clayton Park and he works on the other side of the harbour...blargh!
yep -- this sucks big time. I do realize that these things happen, particularly when we drive 9 and 11 year old cars...however at the same time! F'in wonderful. Top this off with the fact that I've been a hormonal wreck for the past 2 weeks (and have NO idea why) and I'm a bit of an emotional basket case this evening.
Weightloss has been frustrating as well. I've been eating fairly well, hitting up the gym..but the scale keeps going up. I really...I'm losing motivation quickly. Blah.
Ok so...yeah, apparently its been a bad day. I'm off to bed before anything else goes wrong!
But, I will leave you with good things before I go :)
Went to PEI this weekend and got to spend a ton of time with our friends K & S from Montreal. I flew them and their daughter (our "niece") home so that K could get ordained as a minister in his childhood church. At the same time, our niece got baptised. So I leave you with a picture of G and I and her cuteness from the service, isn't she gorgous! (I on the other hand.....well, anyways..)
oh ok.....shes cute, so heres one more :)
